"When setting about looking for a venue for my 40th birthday, I knew that my friends and family would have high expectations as I own an events agency. I have friends and family from North to South Manchester and so finding a venue to sort everyone’s location wasn’t going to be possible.  I didn’t want a bog standard hotel but many bars won’t do private hire for my numbers on a Saturday.  I wanted a cool, bar feel but that was private and didn’t feel like part of someone else’s night! 

We decided to book On the 7th.  Having worked with the eclectic group on many events over the years I knew that the service and attention to detail would be second to none.  I also know having worked with so many clients there that they are so flexible when creating a menu for you.

The theme of the party was my favourite things so between us we conjured up the following menu –
Jammy Dodger Shots on arrival, prosecco with branded labels. We then had a taco, tequila and tiffin bar…

Staff then walked around with usherette trays with cones of sweet potato fries and protein balls – an ode to my healthy ways!

We used every bit of the space to create different areas – a selfie mirror station; glitter paint bar; motivational quote board, dance floor, stage and an area with a huge plasma and photos.

I would 100% recommend this venue and there is a great Holiday Inn near by which is very reasonable for guests staying over."
